Yes yes yes we did it ! We went one better than last year we won the team event at the British par 3 champion ships at nNailcote Hall. What a few days we had our celebrity was the one and only Bob Champion MBE what a loveley man.So the team was myself Bob Champion MBE ,Skitty and our capitain marvel Ian Halliwell we had a bit of trouble with Bob at the ditches he refused to jump, but we got him there. Then he was whiping us into shape a bit to much use of the whip we think. Stewerds enquiry going on could be a ban Bob rode Adanti in the 1981 Grand National that was made into a film. We all had a great day met lots of stars and made lots of new friends I played well in front of the tv cameras. Now its into the gala dinner what a lovley evening things were going well I thought i had my phone on silent, yep you gussed it wasn't in the middle of Tony Jacklins speech my son Tom decides to ring from Turkey so we got Del boy calling Rodney a plonker red faced or what still they did laugh. Now its on to getting our prizes we all got a lovley new golf bag, a nice leather over night bag and a goblet with farmfoods par 3 team champions 2011. Now for a few thank yous firstly to all of the staff for everything they done, to my wife for being there with me, the team Bob Champion MBE, Scitty and a massive thank you to Mr Ian Halliwell for the invite to play thank you all. Now its of to practice for the disabled open at the East Sussex National this weekend if your local come up and cheer us on its free to get in.
